Preparation of Art for Print
Assignment 4: Stationery
Your next assignment will allow you to design innovative stationery for the digital
music composer, Webster Taylor. The composer would like to use his laser printer
to print the design on card stock for his business card, and specialized stationery
for his letterhead and envelope. The laser printer prints in black or color.
The information that will appear on the stationery:

The composer would like the design to appear contemporary and to suggest digital
music.
The stationery will be produced using the laser printer and can be printed on any
type of laser-ready paper. The paper selection is part of the design consideration
you will need to make. Any color can be produced with the aid of a printer. For
example, you may use a rubber stamp to produce the color element.
This is a limited edition low-end/high-art print product. Check out JAMS in NYC
for paper and envelopes—they have a great selection.
